Cooking together on Sunday

Do you know why Sunday is a very special day for me? Not only because it means I've got more free time:) I love cooking, as you remember and on Sunday, when I can stay at home and do my things I... cook!!!

Today's menu for my family was:

Pistachio cake with raspberries

Beef baked in coffee

Risotto with Tete de Moine and pear

Everyone was glad, me too of course. Looking forward to next weekend to develop my culinary skills more!

That's why I cooked a special family meal for my dearest&nearest:)

This is a special cinnamon and flour cake baked only this day

A bit of my favourite Italian cousine! Farfalle with prawns cream

And ricotta appetizer with nuts and basilic.

Happy New 2014 to everyone! I hope this year will bring many pleasant surprises and emotions to the world!
What about me, I spend the 31 of December at home with my family. We had a lot of guests, so much tasty food (cooked by me and mom) and everything was great!!

These are the cakes we had. The first one was brought by my cousin who visited us and second one is baked by me.

We were walking intil half past four and then... sleep sleep sleep.

Today we went to the cinema to te nearest mall. Hope these holidays will be relaxing for me... I really needed a rest:)

Today I returned home in the evenings absolutelty exhausted... But my mom knows how to make me happier a bit. She always buys me incredibly sweet things which I can't help eating:) So, every time I feel extremely tired and unable to finish the day with a smile on my face I eat sweets and feel better!
Just have a look what was my "drug" today!!!

These biscuits are called "Greek" though they're made in Russia, but I really love them

These chocolate sweets are one of my favorite ones and the plumcake is great... it smells...and reminds you of NY which is coming very soon...

Well, I also like plums very much. Grapes also can make you feel happier, according to the scientists:)

Well, this could probably be great for Winnie the Pooh. Though it's not with honey but it resembles something

Actually, this is not a kind of sweet things, but it is a part of my style today, haha:))

Tuesday at home

Today it was raining all the day, so, I spent this Tuesday with my mom choosing the next bag for me and eating sweets.Lazy Tuesday, haha:)

Bake a pizza with me!

Hello!Today I decided to bake something tasty.It was pizza...No doubt, everyone loves pizza!!!The filling for my pizza was sausages with tomato pasta Dolmio (which I recommend to you if you like tasty pizza fillings)

For one pizza you need:

500 g flour

300 ml water

25 g yeast

salt 

sugar

2 tbsp olive oil

+

300 g sausages (the ones I used are Munich sausages)

500 ml Dolmio classic tomato pasta

300 g cheese ( such as Parmigiano)

2 tbsp olive oil

Add the salt, sugar, oil and the yeast into the flour. Then add water and mix everything with your hands.

Leave the pastry for about 1 hour in a warm place and put a tea-towel onto it.

Fry the sausages with the olive oil, after 2-3 minutes add Dolmio pasta. You don't need pepper or salt, because Dolmio contains them. Grate the cheese

When the pastry is ready, form it as a pizza.Put, firstly, a 2/3 of the grated cheese, then the sausage filling and then the left part of the cheese.Sprinkle the pizza with the olive oil.

Put your pizza into the oven for about 30 minutes (200 degrees C)

Good appetite!!!

Hello to my dear readers!Today my cousin Maxim arrived in Greece!That was a real reason to prepare many many tasty things:)As he loves sweets so much,we got a plenty of chocolate, pastry, ice-cream...

Tomorrow our family will also celebrate my nephew's christening.That's why I baked this crazy cake for him:)
